What is Hopin?
Hopin is an AI job and internship discovery app built for students and freshers in India. It surfaces hidden roles early, scores how well each role matches your profile, helps tailor your resume, and helps you apply faster, from your phone.
Is Hopin free?
Yes. Hopin has a free plan that covers job and internship discovery, match scores, saving jobs, and applying. If we add paid features in future, we will clearly show what is included before you pay.
How do I sign in?
You sign in with your Google account. We use this to create your Hopin profile and keep you signed in securely. We only request your basic profile and email for sign-in.
What Gmail access does Hopin use?
When you choose to send an application email through Hopin, we use only the gmail.send scope. This lets Hopin send a single email on your behalf that you have reviewed. Hopin does not read your inbox and does not list, view, modify, or delete existing messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What are "hidden jobs"?
Hidden jobs are openings posted on places like LinkedIn or company channels that have not yet flooded the big job boards. Hopin surfaces them early so you can apply before hundreds of others do.
How does auto-apply work?
For roles that accept applications by email or simple forms, Hopin can prepare an application for you using your profile and resume. You stay in control: you review what gets sent. Some roles still require you to apply on the company's own portal, and Hopin links you straight there.
How is my match score calculated?
Your match score reflects how closely a role fits the roles, skills, experience level, and location preferences in your profile. Updating your preferences in the app refreshes your scores.
How do I update my preferences?
Open the app, go to your profile, and edit Profile & Preferences. You can change target roles, locations, experience level, and how strict your matches should be.
Is my data safe?
We store your data on managed infrastructure and limit access to what is needed to run the service. You can read exactly what we collect and why in our Privacy Policy, and you can export your data or clear your application history from inside the app under Account.
How do I delete my account or data?
In the app, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. You can also request deletion from hopinjobs.com/delete-account. Deleting your account removes your profile, resume, saved jobs, application history, and preferences, subject to limited legal retention described in our policy.
