These Terms of Service govern your use of Hopin Jobs Private Limited's website, mobile app, web portal, job discovery tools, resume tools, application tracker, alerts, and related services. By using Hopin, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
Hopin is built for college students, freshers, and early-career job seekers. You must be able to form a valid agreement under applicable law. If you are under 18, you may use Hopin only with parent or guardian consent.
What Hopin Does
Hopin helps users discover jobs and internships, organize applications, improve resumes and profiles, receive alerts, and use AI-assisted career workflows. Hopin is not an employer, recruiter, college placement cell, or hiring agency, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers, replies, placements, or job outcomes.
Your Account
You are responsible for the information in your account and for keeping your login access secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it when necessary. You may not share your account in a way that creates security, abuse, or impersonation risks.
Your Content
You keep ownership of resumes, documents, profile details, notes, prompts, and other content you upload or create in Hopin. You give Hopin permission to host, process, analyze, transform, display, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the service, support you, and operate related features.
Jobs And Third-Party Sites
Hopin may show jobs, internships, company information, recruiter information, application links, or related content from third-party sources, public webpages, company pages, job boards, partner feeds, or user-submitted data. We try to make this useful, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate, complete, current, available, or suitable for you.
When you leave Hopin for a third-party website, that website's own terms and privacy policy apply.
AI-Assisted Features
AI features can make mistakes. Resume feedback, match scores, application suggestions, email drafts, summaries, and recommendations are assistive outputs, not professional, legal, financial, hiring, or career guarantees. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you submit, send, publish, or rely on it.
Assisted Applications
If Hopin offers assisted application or automation features, they will work only with the permissions and information needed for that workflow. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your profile, resume, answers, and submissions. You must not use Hopin to submit false information, spam employers, bypass third-party rules, or apply where you are not authorized to apply.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Hopin for unlawful, harmful, misleading, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications.
- Interfere with Hopin's security, infrastructure, rate limits, or access controls.
- Scrape, resell, copy, or reverse engineer Hopin except where allowed by law.
- Use Hopin to send spam or mass outreach that violates platform or employer rules.
Pricing
Hopin may offer free and paid features. If a paid feature is introduced, any applicable pricing, renewal, refund, or cancellation terms will be shown before you purchase.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using Hopin, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
Hopin, our branding, product design, software, copy, workflows, and other materials are owned by Hopin or our licensors. These Terms do not give you ownership of Hopin's intellectual property. You may not use our name, logo, or branding in a misleading way.
Suspension Or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for Hopin or other users, or used the service in a harmful way. You may stop using Hopin at any time and may request account deletion at /delete-account.
Disclaimers
Hopin is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any job or internship outcome will result from using Hopin.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hopin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, lost profits, lost data, or employment outcomes arising from your use of the service.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms as Hopin changes. We will update the date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use of Hopin after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by courts or forums with competent jurisdiction in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
