Job Summary Tosupportourextraordinaryteamswhobuildgreatproductsandcontributetoourgrowth, werelookingtoadd Analyst-Procurement positionwillbebasedin Coimbatore.
Whatatypicaldaylookslike:
• Maintainingrelationswiththesuppliers.

• Placingordersfornecessaryrawmaterialsandpurchasedpartsaccordingtotherequirementsoftheproduction.

• Receivingandhandlingtheconfirmations.

• Checkingthepurchaseordersandmodifyingthemaccordingtothechangesintheproductionplanwiththehelpof the Shortage Listand the Open Purchase Order List.

• Trackingshipments, urgingthemifneeded.

• Regular, weeklycheckofthestocks, avoidingoverstock.

• Minimizingtheriskofobsolescencewiththehelpoftheweeklycheckoftheobsoletereport.

• Correspondencewiththefreightforwarders, warehouses, andincaseorganizingthetransportation.

• Dealingwithclaims, settlingdebitandcreditissues.

• Filingandrecordingallnecessarydocuments.

• Checkingtheinventoryofcriticalmaterials(personallyifneeded)accordingto the Shortage List.

• Gettingintouchwiththerightwarehousepersonnelandhavingthediscrepancymodifiedifthereisanyinventorydiscrepancies.

• Handlingpurchasingdataprivacy.

• Assuringallactivecomponentsaccordingtoproductionneeds, intime, fortheaccordpriceintherequest.

• Reviewsrequisitions and MRPoutput.

• Conferswithvendorstoobtainproductinformationsuchasprice, availabilityanddeliveryschedule.

• Orders, reschedulesandcancelsmaterialbasedonrequisitions and MRPoutput.

• Maintainsprocurementrecordssuchasitemspurchased, costs, deliveryandinventories.

• Managessuppliertoprice, deliveryandqualityexpectationsandescalateswhenappropriate.

• Approvesinvoicesforpayment.

• Investigationinventorylevels.

• Monitorsthemovementofmaterialsthroughtheproductioncycle.

• Conductsquarterlysupplierreviews.

• Maintainsprocurementrecords, reportsandmetrics.

Theexperiencewerelookingtoaddtoourteam:
• Typicallyrequiresabachelorsdegreeorequivalentexperience.

• Experience-0-2 Years

• Useofthefollowingtoolsmayberequired: Workingusage of Word, Excel and Power Point, Englishlanguageknowledge, dataentry, ten-key, spreadsheet(PC), ERPsoftware.

• Abilitytoreadandcomprehendinstructions, correspondenceandmemos.

• Abilitytowritesimplecorrespondence.

• Abilitytoeffectivelypresentinformationinone-on-oneandsmallgroupsituationstocustomers, clientsandotheremployeesoftheorganization.

• Abilitytocalculatefiguresandamountssuchasdiscounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, andvolume. Abilitytoapplyconceptsofbasicalgebraandgeometry.

• Abilitytoapplycommonsensecomprehensiontocarryoutinstructionsfurnishedinwritten, oralordiagramform. Abilitytodealwithproblemsinvolvingseveralconcretevariablesinstandardizedsituations.
