Direct Create is a cultural intelligence and design practice based in New Delhi. We build art and craft programs for national landmarks, hotels, real estate developers, and retail brands, carrying a project from cultural research through to commissioned, fabricated work.

The studio's work begins in the field and ends in a room. Research in a sacred grove in Kodagu, at a loom in Bhuj, on a coffee estate in the Western Ghats. Installed work in a lobby, a suite, a landscape, a threshold.

THE ROLE
Artist and 3D Fabricator. Kalkaji studio, New Delhi. Six days a week, on site.

Two positions are open. Associate, two to four years of professional practice. Intern, six months, for artists in their final year or recently graduated.

The seat sits between cultural research and physical making. Concept development out of research, modeling and detailing in Rhino, Blender, ZBrush, Fusion 360 or SolidWorks, prototyping in clay, plaster, wood and metal, then commissioning and installation alongside makers.

At Direct Create, AI is used as an instrument under human direction. It is never credited as the author of a work.
