Over the past few months, we've been building Anchor Score, a platform with a simple mission
Building the Financial Wellness & Readiness Infrastructure for India.
As we continue to build, we're looking for a Backend Engineering Intern who wants to work on real-world systems and contribute from day one.
You'll get hands-on experience with:
Backend APIs & system architecture
Cloud & database integrations
Financial technology infrastructure
AI-powered workflows
Building products used by real users
This is a paid internship, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and mutual fit.

Interview advice
Going for the Software Engineer role at Anchor Score? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Revise core data structures and be ready to explain the logic in your best project line by line — interviewers care more about how you reason than which language you used.
- Spend 30 to 60 minutes beforehand on the company's site, recent news and LinkedIn, so you can name one specific reason you want to join when they ask.
- Re-read the job description and prepare two projects or coursework examples that map directly to what it asks for.
- Rehearse "tell me about yourself" out loud in about 60 seconds — education, one standout achievement, why this role — instead of reciting your CV top to bottom.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
