Community Intern
I'm so excited to share that I've officially started my new role as Senior Community Marketing Manager at Wavytalk! ๐
Haircare has always held a special place for me. Hair is confidence, self-expression, and identity all at once, and getting to build community around a brand that celebrates that is a dream.
A huge thank you to Marina Fernandez and the Wavytalk team for trusting me with this opportunity and welcoming me so warmly.
In this role, I'll be leading community marketing across our Try Your Best (TYB) community, Hair Talks creator program, and Ambassadors, building spaces where our customers and creators feel seen, heard, and inspired.
And we're growing! We're hiring a Community Intern to join me on these initiatives. If you're passionate about beauty, social, and community, I'd love to hear from you. Drop a comment or send me a DM!
Here's to this next chapter! ๐

Interview advice
Going for this role at Wavytalk? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Before you go in, list the top three things this job asks for and prepare one concrete example for each โ then tie every answer back to them.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally โ it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something โ say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
