Content Writing Intern
How do people even find a good job?
I constantly asked myself this as a fresher. and did what everyone else does: search, apply, wait, then get rejected because “you don't have the skills we need.”
My first instinct was to collect more certificates. I thought another course would fix it.
But I quickly realized technical skills aren't everything. The skills we need in the real world come from practical experience. And we can't learn to swim by sitting on the shore.
The real problem is we overthink and wait for some perfect corporate opportunity instead of getting our hands dirty with real work.
And that's where Pehchaan The Street School (Trust) comes in. It is an NGO making quality education and skill development accessible to students. Here, you can get practical experience and develop skills useful across different fields.

Interview advice
Going for this role at Pehchaan The Street School (Trust)? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Before you go in, list the top three things this job asks for and prepare one concrete example for each — then tie every answer back to them.
- Rehearse "tell me about yourself" out loud in about 60 seconds — education, one standout achievement, why this role — instead of reciting your CV top to bottom.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
