Electrical Designer

We are hiring an Electrical Designer(R & D). The job details are as follows:

Position: Electrical Designer(R & D)

Location: Joka, Kolkata (Preference: Nearby areas)

Company Detail: A well-established and growing organization specializing in the manufacturing of Electrical Switchgear Components.

Qualifications:
Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience:
*1–2 years of experience in switchgear, power systems, CTs, or circuit breakers preferred
*Freshers can apply

Duties & Responsibilities:
*Prepare electrical designs, schematics, and technical drawings
*Support R&D activities for new product development
*Conduct testing, validation, and performance evaluation of products
*Assist in design improvements and product optimization
*Coordinate with production and quality teams for implementation
*Prepare technical documentation and reports
*Ensure compliance with applicable standards and specifications
*Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of product issues

Required Skill & Competence:
*Basic understanding of electrical power systems and switchgear
*Knowledge of Current Transformers (CTs) and Circuit Breakers preferred
*Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
*Familiarity with electrical design concepts and testing procedures *Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
*Knowledge of electrical design software will be an added advantage
