We have two openings in the Finance team at our Mumbai Head Office:
Role 1: Finance Associate - Payables
Role 2: Finance Associate - SCM
Location: Mumbai Head Office
Department: Finance
We’re looking for people who enjoy getting the small things right - because in finance, accuracy, follow-ups, documentation, reconciliations, and timely updates make a big difference.
Role 1: Finance Associate - Payables
This role will work closely on:
- Vendor payment processing and coordination
- PO and invoice tracking
- Rent sheets and petty cash records
- Purchase entries in Tally ERP
- Monthly GST reconciliation
- Payment documentation and process improvement
- Excel-based reporting and automation support
The ideal candidate should have:
- A commerce / finance background
- Prior internship or 1+ year of experience in accounts payable or finance operations
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP, Excel, GST reconciliation, and basic finance processes
- Strong ownership, communication, and follow-up discipline
Role 2: Finance Associate - SCM
This role will work closely with the SCM and warehouse teams on:
- Inventory movement tracking across warehouse and outlets
- GRN, transfer in, transfer out, and stock movement documentation
- Physical stock vs system stock reconciliation
- Outlet-wise inventory visibility and exception reporting
- Consumption tracking and variance identification
- Coordination with SCM, warehouse, outlets, and finance teams
- Strengthening inventory controls and process discipline
The ideal candidate should have:
- A commerce / finance background
- Prior internship or 1+ year of experience in inventory, SCM finance, or finance operations
- Strong Excel skills and comfort with data reconciliation
- Basic understanding of inventory movement, stock controls, and documentation
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work with ground teams
For both roles, we are looking for someone who takes ownership.
Someone who does not wait for a reminder to update a tracker.
Someone who understands that “small finance tasks” are actually business continuity tasks.
Someone who can coordinate across teams and close the loop.

Interview advice
Going for the Finance role at abcoffee? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Revise the fundamentals — the three financial statements and how they connect — and be ready to explain one concept like working capital in simple words.
- Practise once out loud with a friend or a mock interview — the more you rehearse, the calmer and clearer you will be on the day.
- Send a short thank-you message within a day that refers to something specific you discussed — most freshers skip this, and it is remembered.
- Spend 30 to 60 minutes beforehand on the company's site, recent news and LinkedIn, so you can name one specific reason you want to join when they ask.
- Re-read the job description and prepare two projects or coursework examples that map directly to what it asks for.
