Finance Quant Research Intern
Hiring Post - Finance / Quant Research Intern
Looking for a young, curious finance enthusiast to work on a test project for a close friend who wants to build a systematic trading system.
This is a hands-on project involving stock markets, options, data analysis, probabilities, simulations and potentially Python/AI.
Looking for someone who:
Is genuinely interested in the stock market 📈
Can spend time observing markets during trading hours
Is comfortable with numbers, data and research
Knows Python/AI - or is excited to learn
Is curious enough to test assumptions and figure things out
Finance/Economics/Math/Engineering students preferred, but not essential.
This is a project-based opportunity, with the potential to evolve into something bigger if the work goes well.
If interested, DM me with your college/year, market experience and a brief note on why this interests you.

Interview advice
Going for the Finance role at X-access? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Revise the fundamentals — the three financial statements and how they connect — and be ready to explain one concept like working capital in simple words.
- Send a short thank-you message within a day that refers to something specific you discussed — most freshers skip this, and it is remembered.
- Spend 30 to 60 minutes beforehand on the company's site, recent news and LinkedIn, so you can name one specific reason you want to join when they ask.
- Re-read the job description and prepare two projects or coursework examples that map directly to what it asks for.
- Rehearse "tell me about yourself" out loud in about 60 seconds — education, one standout achievement, why this role — instead of reciting your CV top to bottom.
