Forward Deployed Engineer Intern
I'm hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) intern for my team at Spyne.
Spyne builds AI for the ~$1 trillion US car dealership industry. We help dealers sell more cars, faster.
I lead Service AI, a team of 2 PMs and 1 FDE. You will work directly with me.
You will own a set of US dealerships end to end. Join the dealer calls. Review what our AI agents did on every call. Find why we missed a booking. Then go fix it. It’s a ccount management, product, and engineering in one role.
Who I am looking for:
Someone with high ownership who wants to move closer to FDE or product roles. You could be in support, sales, QA or engineering today. That does not matter much. You should be comfortable working with AI agents and agentic tools every day.
Please read before applying:

Interview advice
Going for this role at Spyne? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Before you go in, list the top three things this job asks for and prepare one concrete example for each — then tie every answer back to them.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
- Use STAR for "tell me about a time" questions — Situation, Task, Action, Result — so your story stays clear and short.
- Keep answers tight and on-point; avoid rambling or personal topics like religion, politics, relationships or family.
