Founding Office Intern Technical Operations

๐ง Founding Office Intern โ Technical Operations (Hardware & Robotics)
BlendYeh | Bangalore
Everyone wants to build a startup someday. Most people wait until they "have enough experience."
The truth? The fastest way to get that experience is being inside one while it's still being built โ not reading about it after the fact.
BlendYeh builds autonomous beverage kiosks. This role puts you on the machine itself: the gantry, the electronics, the control systems that make it actually work.
What you'll get hands-on with:
โ๏ธ CoreXY/gantry-based motion systems โ steppers, linear rails, belt drives
๐ป Embedded firmware on microcontrollers (Teensy/ESP32-class)
๐ PCB design and bring-up โ schematic โ layout โ working board
โก Motor drivers and power electronics (stepper drivers, H-bridges)
๐ก IoT connectivity โ getting hardware talking to the cloud, reliably
๐ ๏ธ Field diagnostics โ fixing what actually breaks, not just what breaks on paper
Who this is for:
You want to start your own company one day, and you'd rather learn how by being hands-on inside one early โ not waiting on the sidelines. You've built real things: a robotics project, a PCB you designed and got fabbed, a microcontroller build that wasn't a tutorial rehash. We don't care where โ we care that you took something from idea to working hardware, on your own.
No degree required. No certifications. No "years of experience" checkbox. Just proof you can build โ and that you learn fast, because in a hardware startup something new breaks every week.
You're also comfortable using Claude and AI tools to pick up new technical domains quickly, debug faster, write firmware, or automate your own workflow. If you're not there yet but you're hungry to get there โ that counts too.
What this is:
Three months, zero-to-one, working directly with the founder on a real product already deployed in the field. You'll own real hardware decisions โ and real failures. High performers walk away with a well-paid full-time offer, based purely on what they've actually shipped.

Interview advice
Going for the Operations role at BlendYeh? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Have one example ready where you brought order to chaos โ a process you organised or a bottleneck you fixed, with the result.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something โ say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
- Use STAR for "tell me about a time" questions โ Situation, Task, Action, Result โ so your story stays clear and short.
- Keep answers tight and on-point; avoid rambling or personal topics like religion, politics, relationships or family.
