Are you a fresh Mechanical Engineering graduate eager to build things that matter? Join NU Icon Private Limited — a growing Bengaluru-based company specializing in process instrumentation and industrial automation solutions. We design, manufacture, and supply precision instruments including temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, level sensors, and dew point meters to clients across India and overseas.
We are a tight-knit team, which means you won't be a cog in a machine — you'll own real work from Day 1.
What You'll Do
·        Assist in 3D modeling and 2D drafting of mechanical assemblies, enclosures, and sensor housings using CAD tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / CATIA).
·        Support prototype development, fabrication, and testing of instrumentation products.
·        Collaborate with vendors and the production team for material selection, machining, and assembly.
·        Prepare BOMs, technical drawings, and product documentation.
·        Conduct basic thermal/structural analysis and support design validation.
·        Participate in quality checks, calibration support, and site installation when required.
·        Contribute ideas for design improvements and cost optimization.
What We're Looking For
·        B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (2025 or 2026 pass-out).
·        Basic proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
·        Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, 3D printing).
·        Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to get hands-on in the workshop.
·        Good communication skills and ability to work in a small, fast-paced team.
·        Location: Bangalore (in-office role).
Bonus points if you have:
·        Internship experience in product design, manufacturing, or automation.
·        Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, or FEA basics.
·        Exposure to Arduino / PLC / basic electronics (we're an instrumentation company — interdisciplinary curiosity helps!).
