Inspector

Job Summary: Inthisroleyouwillperformdocumentedinspectionsintheverificationofconformanceofpartstoapplicabledrawings, procedures, specificationsandallapplicablestatutoryandregulatoryrequirements. The QCInspectorisresponsibleforthecontentof the Inspecti on Test Plan(ITP)andprojectqualityplanaccordingtocustomers and Flowservesspecificationsandinternationalstandards. Besides, the QCInspectorisresponsiblefordefining, advisingandcontrollingallprojectrequired QCdocuments. The QCInspectorreportsdirectlyto the QCSupervisor/Manager.

Responsibilities Requirements:
-Documentingdimensionalandvisualinspectionstothedrawingorapplicableprocedures
-Documentingnon-conformingmaterialutilizing an NCR(nonconformingmaterials)process
-Reviewingandverifyinternalandexternalqualificationsofsuppliers, welders, NDEpersonnelwithregard to Non-Destructive Examinations(NDE), weldingproceduresand/orotherapplicablerequirements.
-Reviewingandapprovesuppliersmanufacturingandtestingdocuments/proceduresandtotakecareforapproval(whenrequired)ofthesedocumentsbythecustomer, hiscustomerandtheauthorizedinspectionbody
-Preparinganddefinetestandinspectionrequirementsfortherequiredprojectssuc has ITPandprocurementspecifications
-Andanyotherdutiesassigned

Preferred Experience/Skills:
-Knowledgeofwelding, NDEandqualitysystems
-Knowledgeoftheestablishedqualitystandards, lawsandregulationsofnationalandinternationalauthorities
-Musthaveknowledgeofinspectionequipmentgenerallyfoundinmachining, assemblyandtestoperations
-Effectiveutilization of CMMsisaplus
-Flexible, eagertolearn, accurate, analyticalwithpositive, can-doattitude
-Flexibilityandwillingnesstotravel
-Goodinterpersonal, communication, negotiation, analyticalandpresentationskills
