Instrumentation Engineer Intern

We're looking for interns to join our highly talented team in the Bangalore office at AxD: Automation x Digital.

We are building a deep tech product for manufacturing - machine tool retrofits, robotic integration, and software products for predictive maintenance and production intelligence. Our customers run real factories: automotive, tire, plastics, semiconductor. Nothing we ship is theoretical.

Perfect fit if you want internship experience where the code you write or the sensors you install end up running on a shop floor, laying the foundations of an industrial product.

→ Instrumentation Engineer Intern (EEE / ECE /ENI)
Field and lab work on sensor installation, commissioning, and signal acquisition for our platform deployments. Scope includes reading electrical drawings, sizing and selecting sensors, determining acquisition frequencies, and running first-pass analytics on the data you've helped capture. This role moves between site and desk. Coding skills and familiarity with Full Stack Development is a plus.

→Mechanical Engineering Intern - Physics & Fault Analysis (ME)
Lead the physics-based modelling behind our fault detection and machine health analytics. Requires strong grounding in vibration analysis, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and mechanics of solids - the core mechanical fundamentals used to reason about how machines actually fail. You'll be working alongside software and ML engineers, so comfort with Python and numerical methods is expected.

Location: Indiranagar, Bangalore.

Work type: On-site, 4 days in office, (1 day optional WFH)
