DRDO - Naval Physical & Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL) - Internship Scheme - Under Graduate / Post Graduate Engineering or Basic Sciences, Kochi, India ::

Naval Physical & Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Thrikkakara, Kochi is a premier research Laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organization. It is committed to design and development of advanced state of the art and reliable underwater sensors and surveillance systems and undertake Oceanographic studies for Naval applications through sustained efforts in research and innovation.

NPOL invites applications from interested candidates of Indian nationality for enrollment under the Paid Internship Scheme of DRDO, under the following disciplines of Under Graduate / Post Graduate Engineering or Basic Sciences stream being offered at this Laboratory.

Students currently enrolled in full time Under Graduate/Post Graduate courses in respective discipline from AICTE/UGC recognized Indian University/Institute; and in the final year of the course are eligible to apply. The internship/project work of minimum six months duration should be a part of the curriculum prescribed for the said course.

The selected candidates will receive a total stipend of Rs 30,000/- (Rs. Thirty Thousand only) in two equal installments - i.e Rs 15000/- after completion of three months and Rs 15000/- after completion of six months. If the intern leaves the internship before completion of entire duration of six months, he /she will not receive the stipend or Certificate of internship.
