Internship
We're building something new at YourOwnROOM and are looking for 2 Interns
We're launching an Advisory & Consulting practice to help our clients evaluate, structure, and maximize returns from their residential property portfolios — sitting on top of our existing rental management and residential finishing businesses.
To help us build this from the ground up, we're hiring 2 interns for 6 months.
This isn't a typical internship. You'll be in the room as we design the offering itself — market research, client frameworks, pricing models, and early client conversations. If you want a steep learning curve in proptech, real estate strategy, and building something from zero, this is it.
Who we're looking for:
Based in Bangalore
Sharp, curious, comfortable with ambiguity
Interested in real estate, finance, or strategy

Interview advice
Going for this role at YourOwnROOM? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Before you go in, list the top three things this job asks for and prepare one concrete example for each — then tie every answer back to them.
- Re-read the job description and prepare two projects or coursework examples that map directly to what it asks for.
- Rehearse "tell me about yourself" out loud in about 60 seconds — education, one standout achievement, why this role — instead of reciting your CV top to bottom.
- Put numbers on your achievements: "8.5/10 GPA", "cut load time by 40%", "led a team of four" lands far better than "good grades" or "hard-working".
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
