Investor Onboarding Intern | Legal Team | Mumbai

Looking to build a career in the legal, compliance, and financial services space? Join our Legal Team as an Investor Onboarding Intern and gain hands-on experience in investor onboarding, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering frameworks.

📍 Location: Prabhadevi
📅 Internship Duration: 6 Months

What Will You Learn?
• Ability to onboard various types of global investors (individual and non-individual) by interacting with investment managers and independently executing the process within defined TATs.
• Gain an understanding of onboarding NRI and foreign investors from a FATF and sanctions screening perspective.
• Achieve investor onboarding in line with PMLA/AML guidelines while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Read, understand, and interpret global Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws and policies.
• Lead coordination with KRA, CKYC, and Depository Participants (DPs).
• Upgrade process notes and checklists in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with teams managing investor onboarding and backend data management systems.
• Gain an understanding of scheme banks, wire transfers, and custodian arrangements.
• Oversee post-investment deliverables such as welcome kits and NAV coordination with the middle office.
