Good news for freshers that nobody is talking about loudly enough.
India's top IT companies are hiring again.
TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Wipro and others expect to onboard 82,000 graduates in FY2026 - signalling a real recovery in entry level demand after years of muted hiring.

But here is the catch.

India's job market is expected to grow 9% in 2026 - but around 80% of employers still struggle to find qualified candidates, especially in AI, cloud and cybersecurity.
So jobs are coming back. But not for everyone equally.

→ Cloud certifications - AWS, Azure, GCP even basic ones matter
→ GitHub with real projects - not just college assignments
→ LinkedIn presence - recruiters are searching, not just waiting for applications

As an IT recruiter I can tell you - the freshers getting callbacks are not always the ones with the best grades.

They are the ones who look ready on paper before the interview even starts.
