Linguist Intern

We're hiring a Linguist Intern at BharatGen

We're building LLMs, ASR, and TTS systems for all 22 scheduled Indian languages.

You'll be:
→ Evaluating model outputs across Indian languages — does the AI actually understand how people speak?
→ Annotating data that shapes how our models learn
→ Supporting coordination with our freelancer network on an as-needed basis

We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has MA in Linguistics (Computational Linguistics preferred)
✔ Is detail-oriented and can apply guidelines consistently
✔ Knows at least one Indian language well

Duration: 6 months | Location: Mumbai
