Power Electronics Intern

I’m looking for a Power Electronics Intern to join my team and work on real-world EV Power Electronics hardware development.
This internship is not just about observing or learning theory. You will get an opportunity to work closely with the engineering team and contribute to actual hardware development, testing and debugging.
🔧 What you’ll work on
OBC & DC-DC Converter development and Many more
PFC, LLC and other power converter topologies
Power semiconductor devices, gate drivers and protection circuits
Schematic understanding and PCB design
Hardware testing, debugging and troubleshooting
EMI/EMC fundamentals
Circuit simulation using LTspice / PSpice
Component selection and datasheet analysis
Technical documentation and engineering analysis
🎯 What I’m specifically looking for
1. Hands-on Hardware Project — MUST HAVE
You should have completed at least one real hardware project during college/personal projects.
Projects involving Power Electronics, DC-DC converters, inverters, chargers, motor drives, SMPS, power supplies or EVs will be highly preferred.
2. Proactive & “Can-Do” Attitude — MUST HAVE
I’m looking for someone who:
Takes initiative instead of waiting for instructions
Is willing to pick up a task and get it done
Enjoys troubleshooting and finding solutions independently
Is comfortable asking questions and learning quickly
Takes ownership of assigned work
Is willing to work hands-on in the lab
Has the curiosity to understand why something failed, not just report that it failed
3. Strong Fundamentals
Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics background
Good understanding of basic power electronics concepts
Final-year B.Tech/B.E. / M.Tech/M.E. student preferred
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
