I've been thinking about this a lot as a founder.

Today's job market is extremely competitive. There are thousands of candidates looking for opportunities, while companies are looking for people who are genuinely willing to learn, contribute, and grow.

When a company hires an intern, it's not simply about paying a stipend.
The company invests time, mentorship, training, tools, feedback, and real business exposure.

An intern may not be ready to handle a client project on day one—and that's completely okay.
But the willingness to learn, accept feedback, improve skills, take responsibility, and understand professional discipline has to come from the candidate.

An internship shouldn't be:
"I joined → I received a stipend → I completed my internship."
It should be:
"I joined → I learned → I contributed → I improved → I became employable."
And companies have a responsibility too.

Don't expect an intern to perform like an experienced professional. Give them meaningful work, proper guidance, feedback, and an environment where they can genuinely grow.

Because an internship works only when both sides take it seriously.
To every student and young professional looking for an opportunity:
Don't choose an internship only for the stipend. Choose it for the skills, exposure, mentorship, and experience you can carry throughout your career.

The market is competitive.
Certificates may get you noticed.
Skills make you valuable.
Attitude determines how far you go.
