Are you passionate about wildlife, ecology, and hands-on conservation research?
The Animal Cognition & Evolutionary Ecology Lab (ACE Lab) at Atria University is looking for a Project Intern to contribute to ongoing research in butterfly ecology and conservation.
Role Breakdown:
📍 Location: Atria University, Bengaluru
⏳ Duration: Full-time (6 months)
💰 Stipend: ₹10,000 / month
Key Responsibilities:
Rearing and maintaining butterfly populations in the lab
Care and maintenance of host plants
Fieldwork support and ecological data collection
Contributing directly to ongoing research projects
Eligibility & Preferences:
Qualification: B.Sc. in Biological Science, Zoology, Agricultural Sciences, Entomology, Botany, Wildlife, or any related life science discipline.
Desirable: Prior experience working with butterflies.
Preferred: Familiarity with Bengaluru collection sites and willingness to conduct independent local field visits.

Going for this role at Atria University? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Before you go in, list the top three things this job asks for and prepare one concrete example for each — then tie every answer back to them.
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
