Function:  Sales Bancassurance
Program Duration:  1-Year Trainee Period(Convertibletoafull-timerolebasedonperformance)
Compensation: 3.5 Lakhs Per Annum(LPA)
Reportingto:  Area/Cluster Manager–Bancassurance(Mentoreddirectly by Zonal Leaders)

Role Purpose
Tolearnandassistindriving Life Insurancebusinessthroughstrategicpartnerships with Emerging Bankchannelpartners of Kotak Lifeinanopenarchitecturemodel. Thisrolefocusesondevelopingtheskillstobuildstrongrelationshipsanddeliverconsistentbusinessgrowththrougheffectivesalesmanagementandpartnerengagementunderexpertguidance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Delivery
• Supporttheachievementofassignedsalestargets(NOP, Revenue, casecount, productmix)throughpartnerbankbranches.

• Assistindriving Life Insurancepenetrationwithinmappedbankbranches.

• Focusonlearninghigh-qualitybusinessacquisitionandpersistency.

2. Partner Relationship Management
• Assistinbuildingandnurturingstrongworkingrelationshipswithkeystakeholdersatpartnerbanks.

• Actasasupportingpointofcontactforthebankoninsurance-relatedmatters.

• Learntoalignwithpartnerbankprioritiesandidentifygrowthopportunities.

3. Sales Enablement&Capability Building
• Shadowandco-facilitateregulartrainingsessionsforbankstaffonlifeinsuranceproducts, salespitches, andcompliance.

• Accompanyrelationshipmanagers/branchteamsduringcustomermeetingstoobserveandassistindrivingclosures.

4. Branch Activation&Engagement
• Helpincreaseactivationofmappedbranchesandtrackproductivityperbranch.

• Assistinplanningandexecutingjointsalesactivities, campaigns, andcustomerengagementinitiatives.

• Ensureregularbranchvisitsandparticipateinstructuredengagementwithfrontlineteams.

5. Pipeline&Lead Management
• Workalongsidebankteamstounderstandhowtogeneratequalityleadsandmaintainastrongpipeline.

• Trackandmonitorleadconversionratiosundertheguidanceofmanagers.

• Learntoleveragedatatoidentifyopportunitiesforcross-sellandupsell.

6. Governance&Compliance
• Ensurestrictadherencetoregulatoryguidelinesandcompanypolicies.

• Maintainqualityofsalesanddocumentationstandards.

• Learnandpracticeethicalsalespracticesacrosspartnerteams.

7. Reporting&Review
• Assistinprovidingregularupdatesonbusinessperformance, branchproductivity, andthesalesfunnel.

• Learntoanalyzetrendsandproposeproactiveactionstoaddressgaps.

• Participateinperiodicreviewswithinternalstakeholders, managers, and Zonal Leadermentors.

Candidate Profile

Experience
• 0–1 yearsofexperience(Freshersarewelcometoapply; anyinternshipexperience in Life Insurance/Bancassurance/BFSISalesisanadvantage).

• Stronginterestinlearningaboutbankchannelpartnershipsand the BFSIsector.

Skills&Competencies
• Eagernesstolearnrelationshipmanagementandstakeholderinfluencing.

• Basicunderstandingofsalesplanningandexecution.

• Strongcommunicationandnegotiationskills.
