Whizzcom Media Works is looking for a Social Media Executive to join our growing team in Chennai.
What you'll do:
✨ Manage social media accounts across multiple brands
✨ Create engaging content and captions
✨ Plan and schedule posts using content calendars
✨ Coordinate with designers and clients for timely execution
✨ Track performance and share insights to improve engagement
✨ Stay updated with the latest social media trends
What we're looking for:
✔️ Strong written communication skills
✔️ Creativity with an eye for detail
✔️ Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & other social platforms
✔️ Basic knowledge of social media analytics and scheduling tools
✔️ 1–2 years of experience in social media management is preferred

Going for the Marketing role at Whizzcom Media Works? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Bring one campaign or content idea you would run for them in week one — showing initiative beats listing tools you have heard of.
- For a virtual interview, test your internet, camera and mic in advance, sit somewhere quiet and well-lit, and still dress formally — it signals you are serious.
- Prepare two or three thoughtful questions to ask them about the team, the work and growth; "I have no questions" reads as low interest.
- It is fine not to know something — say how you would find the answer. Freshers are hired for how they think, not for knowing everything already.
- Use STAR for "tell me about a time" questions — Situation, Task, Action, Result — so your story stays clear and short.
