We are looking for Software Engineer Interns to work on meaningful, real-world projects that are part of Stripe’s production roadmap. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to production software, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Stripe's internship program is designed to provide hands-on experience with real systems and technologies while helping interns grow technically and professionally. 🚀

🎓 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong fundamentals in Computer Science
• Programming experience through coursework, side projects, internships, or other practical experience
• Familiarity with programming languages such as **Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, or Go**
• Experience with internships, multi-person projects, or open-source contributions
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems and technologies quickly

⭐ 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱:
• At least 2 years of university education or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of frontend or backend technologies
• Understanding of high-quality pull requests, code reviews, and test coverage
• Familiarity with navigating large/multi-language codebases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

🏢 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲:
Bengaluru-based role. Some Stripe teams in Bengaluru may have **100% in-office expectations**, depending on the team and role.
