### Required Skills
* Strong understanding of *Manual Testing* concepts.
* Knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
* Hands-on knowledge of *Java* and *Selenium WebDriver*.
* Basic understanding of *API Testing* using tools like Postman.
* Good knowledge of *SQL* for database validation.
* Understanding of test case design and defect reporting.
* Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira is an added advantage.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
### Roles & Responsibilities
* Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
* Execute manual and automated test cases.
* Perform API testing and validate responses.
* Write and execute Selenium automation scripts using Java.
* Validate backend data using SQL queries.
* Identify, log, track, and verify defects.
* Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
* Ensure software quality by performing functional, regression, and integration testing.
* Maintain testing documentation and reports.
### Eligibility Criteria
* BE/B.Tech, MCA, BCA, BSc (CS/IT), or equivalent degree.
* 2024, 2025, or 2026 graduates.
* Candidates with strong academic or personal projects in Software Testing are preferred.
* Passion for Quality Assurance and Software Testing.
### Preferred Skills
* Knowledge of Agile methodology.
* Exposure to Git/GitHub is an added advantage.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new testing tools and technologies.
*Freshers with a strong foundation in Manual Testing, Java Selenium, API Testing, and SQL are encouraged to attend the walk-in drive. Immediate joiners are preferred.*

Interview advice
Going for the QA / Tester role at NammaQA? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
- Be ready to write a few test cases on the spot and to explain what you would automate versus what you would test by hand, and why.
- Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early (not an hour), and carry a printed CV, a valid ID and any certificates.
- Practise once out loud with a friend or a mock interview — the more you rehearse, the calmer and clearer you will be on the day.
- Send a short thank-you message within a day that refers to something specific you discussed — most freshers skip this, and it is remembered.
