Role: Solar Technical Engineer / Solar Site Engineer
Role Type: Full Time
Location: Visakhapatnam
Job Summary:
Looking for a motivated candidate with practical experience in solar installation, including knowledge of solar materials, panel connections, system setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support.
Responsibilities:
Install, commission, and maintain solar systems
Understand and handle all solar materials (panels, inverters, batteries, wiring, mounting structures)
Connect and wire solar panels correctly
Conduct site inspections and provide technical support
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance
Coordinate with customers and internal teams
Monitor system performance and prepare reports
Ensure safety compliance
Skills Required:
Knowledge of solar PV systems and materials
Electrical wiring and safety practices
Ability to connect and install solar panels properly
Read electrical diagrams/layouts
Troubleshooting and problem-solving
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reports, emails)
Preferred Profile:
1+ years in solar installation/service/support
ITI/Diploma/Engineering background
Willingness to travel for site visits
Good communication and teamwork
