We're Hiring: SQA Intern (Remote)

Cognitive IT Solutions is seeking a motivated SQA Intern to join their remote team. This paid 6-month internship offers hands-on experience working on real-world software applications, performing manual, web, API, and database testing under the guidance of experienced QA engineers.

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Duration: 6 Months

Stipend: PKR 30,000 / month

Timings: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across web applications.
Prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, and user requirement documentation.
Identify, report, track, and verify software bugs and UI/UX defects.
Conduct cross-browser and responsive design testing.
Perform basic API testing using Postman and query databases using basic SQL commands.

Eligibility & Skills

Education: Fresh graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or Computer Engineering.

Experience: Practical experience in software testing/SQA through university capstone projects, freelance work, or prior internships.

Knowledge: Core concepts of SDLC, STLC, manual testing, test case authoring, and bug reporting.
Tools: Basic understanding of Postman (API), SQL queries, and project management tools like Jira (a plus).
Attributes: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
