Role Purpose

Do
•
Instrumentalinunderstandingthetestrequirementsandtestcasedesignoftheproduct
• Authoringtestplanningwithappropriateknowledgeonbusinessrequirementsandcorrespondingtestablerequirements
- Implementation of Wipro'swayoftestingusing Modelbasedtestingandachievingefficientwayoftestgeneration
- Ensuringthetestcasesarepeerreviewedandachievinglessrework
- Workwithdevelopmentteamtoidentifyandcapturetestcases, ensureversion
- Settingthecriteria, parameters, scope/out-scopeoftestingandinvolve in UAT(User Acceptance Testing)
- Automatethetestlifecycleprocessattheappropriatestagesthroughvbmacros, scheduling, GUIautomationetc

Todesignandexecutetheautomationframeworkandreporting
• Developandautomatetestsforsoftwarevalidationbysettingupoftestenvironments, designingtestplans, developingtestcases/scenarios/usagecases, andexecutingthesecases
- Ensurethetestdefectsraisedareasperthenormdefinedforproject/program/accountwithcleardescriptionandreplicationpatterns
- Detectbugissuesandpreparefiledefectreportsandreporttestprogress
- Noinstancesofrejection/slippageofdeliveredworkitemsandtheyarewithin the Wipro/Customer SLA'sandnorms
- Designandtimelyreleaseofteststatusdashboardattheendofeverycycletestexecutiontothestakeholders
- Providingfeedbackonusabilityandserviceability, tracetheresulttoqualityriskandreportittoconcernedstakeholders

Status Reporting and Customer Focusonanongoingbasiswithrespecttotestinganditsexecution
• Ensuregoodqualityofinteractionwithcustomerw.r.t.e-mailcontent, faultreporttracking, voicecalls, businessetiquetteetc
- Ontimedeliveries-WSRs, Testexecutionreportandrelevantdashboardupdates in Testmanagementrepository
- Updatesofaccurateeffortsine Cube, TMSandotherprojectrelatedtrackers
- Timely Responsetocustomerrequestsandnoinstancesofcomplaintseitherinternallyorexternally
