Video Editing Intern
Hellllooooo, we’re looking for a Video Editing Intern to join our tiny team!
We mostly make short-form content & reels for brands, and we’re looking for someone who understands that a good reel isn’t just about good editing, it’s about whether someone actually wants to watch it till the end.
A few things you’ll be doing:
* Editing mostly reels and short-form content
* Creating organic, trendy, engaging edits with a strong focus on retention and results
* Thinking about hooks, pacing, storytelling, music, text & everything that keeps people watching
* Adapting your editing style to completely different brand aesthetics
* Bringing your own ideas and references to the table
* Working with Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut / DaVinci Resolve or similar
We’re looking for someone who is creative, internet-savvy, results-focused, has a good eye and is genuinely excited about content. Being professional, proactive and easy to work with is equally important to us.
Open to freshers, but you should have good work to show us.

Interview advice
Going for this role at Self Employed? A few things that help freshers walk in prepared:
